Stella Jelincic
Background and Approach
Stella Jelincic, is a relational, trauma-informed therapist working with individuals and couples navigating grief, relationship patterns, identity questions, and major life transitions. Her work is grounded in psychodynamic and relational approaches, with close attention to attachment, nervous-system regulation, and the emotional impact of early and cultural experiences.
Before becoming a therapist, Stella lived and worked abroad, an experience that continues to shape her clinical focus on migration, belonging, and loss. She brings particular sensitivity to work with immigrants, expats, and people negotiating cross-cultural or intergenerational dynamics.
Stella trained at the California Institute of Integral Studies and has practiced at Golden Gate Integral Counseling Center in San Francisco. She is currently in private practice under supervision, offering therapy in English as well as Croatian, Serbo-Croatian, and Bosnian. Her approach emphasizes collaboration, depth, and creating a space where complex experiences can be explored with care and honesty.
